Tony Snyder did not set out to build a plumbing company. He signed up for a technical program in high school mostly to get out of regular classes with his friends. What happened next surprised everyone, including Tony.

He discovered he was genuinely good at the trade. More than that, he loved it. Tony went on to win the top award in his class for best plumber and was hired by a local plumbing company immediately after graduation. He spent eight years there, learning the business from the ground up, often taking on side jobs in the evenings to help support his grandmother.

After nearly a decade in the field, Tony spent five more years managing daily operations for a business owner who needed someone he could trust to keep things running. Tony’s own customer base kept growing. The side work became harder to ignore.

In 1995, Tony and his wife MeeLee made the decision to go out on their own. The early years were not easy. They worked seven days a week, 12 to 14 hours a day, building the business from nothing. There were no shortcuts. Just showing up, doing the work, and treating every customer the way they would want to be treated.

Thirty years later, Snyder’s Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has grown to a team of 12. Tony and MeeLee still run the business together, and the same values that got them through those early years still drive every service call today.
